One last time

My time here at Tec de Monterrey University in Mexico has come to an end. Today I sat my final exam here and tomorrow I move to Mexico City to begin my two months travelling.

It has been an exciting and extremely busy semester both academically and socially. Quite remarkable to think that it has only been 4 months when it feels like we have built a whole life here. The friends we've made and having great memories puts a smile on my face...

Something tells me I'm having fun

Something happened last weekend which told me that I've been having too much fun. My camera reset its counter that names the photos because it reached its limit of 10,000. I've run out of space on my computer for all these photos and I still am yet to make my big trip around Central and South America!

What have I been taking photos of? Well since my last entry, I've visited some amazing places and had some experiences that I never would've thought possible.

Time flies when you're having fun

As the well known saying goes, time flies when you're having fun! It seems like only yesterday I wrote my first blog entry, but it has already been a month. I've just witnessed the halfway point of my time here in Mexico zip past me and it was gaining speed.

Since my last blog entry I've been to the beautiful historic town of Zacatecas, traversed across Western Mexico by almost all forms of transportation known to man and had a fleeting visit from my Dad.

Hasta luego

Monterrey is a sizable, modern city located in northern central Mexico, not far from the Texas border. I arrived mid-July, a good week before orientation at the Tec de Monterrey, and since then I have had one of the most fun and exciting times of my life!

I am fortunate enough to be travelling with my good friend, also from Swinburne and studying at Tec de Monterrey. We spent the first week in a local hostel looking for accommodation, as we had decided to find our own once we arrived.
