The Swinburne Sustainability Strategy is the next step in achieving the university's sustainability objectives, and builds upon the strengths and achievements of the National Centre for Sustainability.
The strategy is a catalyst for drawing together existing and emerging endeavours in sustainability at Swinburne and was developed in consultation with staff members.
The Sustainability Strategy will be launched on Wednesday 2 December, and will include a presentation by comedian Rod Quantock entitled 'Bugger the Polar Bears - this is serious!'. The event will be held at 11.30am in room TD121 on the Hawthorn campus, with lunch to be served in the TD foyer at 1.00pm.
Staff can register their attendance by contacting Liz Thackray on email@example.com by Monday 30 November.
