Remember to use inter-office envelopes when sending internal mail. Not only are they reusable and help stop paper waste they help save the department's supply of Swinburne postage paid envelopes.

Recycled Paper into Notepads

HR has begun to use recycled paper to make notepads. Using paper that is not double sided, ripped or scrunched we have been slicing it up with the guilotine to make notepads. This is a good way to recycle paper that has barely been used and that is still in good condition. 

Oops Printing

35% of Printing is oops printing! HR is trying to stop wasteful printing with defaults on their computers changed, we hope that other departments in the University do the same.

Turning off Printers and Faxes

HR is continuing with the green initiatives by continually turning off printers and faxes overnight and using the powersave button during the day. Recycle Bins

HR is recycling paper by creating a recycle bin that each staff member is rostered on to empty into the campus recycle bins daily.
