Updating EndNote

The EndNote team supports EndNote X4 and X5. If you are using an older version, you may want to update.

  1. Back up your EndNote library and connected Word documents. 
  2. Uninstall the older version of EndNote (using the Control Panel for Windows.)
  3. Borrow the EndNote X5 CD from the library and do a fresh install. It is also available on the NAL on Swinburne Windows computers.
  4. Update X5 from the Start > Programs > EndNote menu
