James's 3rd entry - Viva Mexico!

So what have I done the last few weeks and months? Saw some crazy bullfighting. Went to see some below average Mexican style wrestling. Ate a truck load of tacos. Wasted away a few nights dancing salsa. Explored some caves in the desert. Road tripped around the countryside. Wrecked my voice screaming VIVA MEXICO! Ventured around the cobblestone streets of old cities. Climbed a mountain. Climbed another mountain. Wrecked my voice again at a local American football game. And went out every night in between.

James' 2nd Entry - First few days in Mexico

Hola!

After 30 hours of travel I made it to Monterrey! My flight came in at 10:30 yesterday morning and got picked up at the airport by students from Tec. About the only interesting thing that happened up until that point, apart from getting a meat pie and sauce for lunch with Air New Zealand, was when my flight from L.A. to Mexico City was delayed and they had to rush me through Mexico City Airport. This was after at least 24 hours of travel, about 5 plane meals and a few hours sleep. It wasn't the most enjoyable morning jog.

So my Host Family picked me up from the uni at around 1 pm.

James' 1st Entry - Melbourne to Monterrey

Melbourne to Monterrey takes Google Earth five whole seconds to complete the journey I will be 26 thousand times slower.

Are you excited??? This seems to be the question on everyone's lips but to answer truthfully, I often have to disappoint. I am excited but not in the whole "18 year old girl who just won Miss Universe" kind of way. Note the lack of flapping arms and running mascara.
